For the first time ever…I’m leaving my work laptop at work for the weekend. Catalog drafts, marketing plans, websites and 1a.m. emails from the China office can wait until Monday…everyone needs a break! :)
It’s my “Friday” and I’m pretty sure Matt is just as happy as I am that we don’t have to see the office for 3 whole days! We just found out that MSN has “winks” with animated images so Matt has been sending me one every morning.
And yes…his status on MSN is really “The Final Frontier” hehe :) Have a great day everyone!

Productive Day.
I finally called my Apartment complex today to let them know that my ice maker is still not working. It only took me four months to do it. Procrastination at its finest.
Got this sweet kettle at World Market today. Now…I just need to buy my tea :)
Although I was literally about to enter the Del Taco drive thru—-I knew my fridge was full of food since I just went grocery shopping last night. So….instead, I went home and just threw some spinach, mushrooms and peppers in one pan and beef stew chunks in another. I just saved myself $7.00. I’m totally winning tonight. lol.
Human beings are ambitious. We spend so much time wanting, pursuing, wishing. For the most part, that’s okay. Ambition is good. Chasing things with integrity is good. Dreaming. As long as the chase doesn’t diminish what we already have. The goodness we take for granted. The people we take for granted. The lives we take for granted. My life is good.

The new lounge at my apartment complex is awesome. It’s also empty on Fridays :) Guess this is going to become my new workstation on Fridays as I try to get back into trying to take over the world with my computer skills.
It’s a beautiful day though…and one can only stay behind a computer for so long!
It’s finally Thursday! I’m enjoying my iced black coffee (I feel gangster when I drink it black) while I listen to a little Mumford & Sons. I’m ready to kick catalog butt (again) and end this work week on a high note :)
