im a 5ft (still debatable), twenty-something geek who loves Jesus and likes taking pictures of the food i eat & the people i love. i make a living typing on a computer keyboard, selling polyresin gnomes and joke telling on the side.

I’m determined not to be an hour early for the 3rd day of work. I just finished my freelance stuff for the morning and I’m feeling good. I just have one more client to do work for tonight when I get home from work and then I am pretty much caught up until the next projects start. It’s been a struggle to force myself to do freelance work once I get home at around 7p.m…but now that I have a handle on the freelance side…hopefully I can get away with not having to wake up so early to do freelance work before work.
So far, I love my job. Its only been two days and my boss keeps telling me how glad he is that he hired me. I’ve managed to redesign their current website for the time being while I work on the “real website & new shopping cart”. Technically—-it’s going to be a doozy so I’m glad that all I really have to focus on is the functions & the design.
I got the tour on the first day of the warehouse in the back. It’s like the size of Costco back there…filled with inventory to the top. It would be the perfect place to play hide-n-seek. Anyways…the 10 hour work days get a little boring by the end of the day, but I’m glad I have a very comfy chair and every Friday off.
Today, we are brainstorming new design ideas for the sculptors. I’m thinking about suggesting unicorns. lol.
