I’m not really a fan of Valentine’s day. I think it dates back to my high school days when they used to try and embarrass you in front of your whole class with those candy grams.
So far, I’ve gotten a text from my Mom asking me if I have a date (which I don’t…unless you count the chili bread bowl I’m considering buying after work tonight), and my boss sending me the following links to remind me of my single status: Want a date? Buy a Home and Behind the Numbers of Office Romance in 2012.
He followed up by saying, “Have hope Kat, the next hire will be handsome”.
So, now I will eat one of the Valentine themed dozen donuts from Krispy Kreme that I brought for the office this morning.
In all seriousness though…It has been a nice day. My new co-worker brought Valentine cupcakes and one our warehouse guys brought us Chocolates. So….Happy Valentine’s Day! :)
