no to monday, wedding stuff and ya…

So I’m currently laying on the rug on the ground of my room sipping on a cup of cappuccino. The weekends go by so fast…I’m not ready for Monday. It’s three days and counting until Mom, Dad and Grandma come back from the Philippines. I’m not really looking forward to driving to LAX in the rain on Wednesday night…but nothing beats waiting to see when your family members come out of the terminal. My dad asked Tin to make sure we brought two $10 bills because he wanted to tip the two airport people that will be pushing Mom & Grandma out of the terminal. Haha. I’m excited to have them home (life is always a little more entertaining). I’m a little worried to see how much work I get done now that the house will be full again during the day—just need to be disciplined I guess.

I am finally mailing off Tin’s Bridal Shower Invites tomorrow…woohooo! Took me a few hours to finish…but I’m happy that I can cross it off my list. The Bridal Shower will be March 6th..so I know I am a little late sending them out. Manang Ann is in charge of the decoriations, Manang Jub is in charge of the dessert and TJ will be running the games.

The wedding is coming up fast and there is still a lot to do. I have to make sure I don’t leave things for the last minute. I still need to figure out:
1. Bridal Shower Party Favors
2. White Tent Rentals for the backyard
3. Food for the Bridal Shower
4. Prizes for the Games
5. Find shoes for the day of the wedding
6. Help Tin & Kenyatta pick songs for the DJ / See John Perform (sigh…lol)
7. MAID OF HONOR SPEECH (AHHHHH!)
8. Find an awesome gift for Tin & Matt (I’m thinking a dog..lol)
9. Practice my ultra cool dance moves for the wedding.

I’m excited for Tin though. We spent a little time after church today to look at houses for sale in the area. It would be cool if they can get something close by in the next year so they can start their own little family. Man…sometimes (well most of the time), I forget that we are adults.

Okay—-I need to try and get some work done. I need to hit the gym in the A.M. This weekend we are playing Bloomington Christian School’s high school basketball team. I’m going to try not and pass out..so I better work on my stamina at the gym.
