Reserved Seating at church…

We have been having church in the new building for a few weeks now. I told Tin I was experimenting to see if I sat in the same place every week…if people would not sit there because it was “my seat”. So, for the last 3 Sundays and Wednesdays…I’ve sat in the same place. However, today I went into church to put my purse down and saw someone’s jacket and Bible in my seat! So, I moved up a row (even though I know there was a guy at church that always sat there…it was “his seat”). Turns out it was Ed who took my spot lol…so we ended up moving back to “my row”…and just sat to the right of “my seat” lol.

I felt bad…so I turned to Daniel (the guy who normally sits in front of me) and apologized for taking his seat and told him he can have his seat back now that I moved back to my row. He told me he was okay..but then David turned around and told him to move to his “normal seat”.

All in all…I found it really amusing. It just reminded me of back in the day in the old building…everyone knew that the back pew was for Francis & Delna and their kids. I won’t be at church on Wednesday because I have to go to the airport…so Matt you can tell your Dad he can sit in my seat if he wants…but come Sunday…we all know where Kathleen will be sitting.
